The WREA’s eleven consumer-owned cooperatives serve over 70% of the geographic area and about 35% of the State’s electric customers. They have been serving and improving the lives of ranchers, farmers and small communities for close to 100 years. Powder River Energy Corporation, a rural electric cooperative, serves many customers in Sheridan County.
